Do you know what Tomas Bata used to say? "If you want to build a successful company, you must first build yourself." At LIKO-S, we have taken this to heart. We believe that in order to be the best, we need to have great teams, and for that, we need great leaders. That's why since last autumn we have teamed up with the Libchavy Academy, which is one of the best training institutions for managers and coaches in the country.

The construction and engineering division management members completed a several-month training program tailored to our needs. Most of our managers are selected from within the company, so we invest heavily in training people and always try to find the best lecturers. However, the Libchavy Academy and the trainer/coach Eva Mohauptova have significantly exceeded the high expectations of even those of us who have attended many different training courses!

The whole program was designed down to the smallest detail, just as we do at LIKO-S for our customers. A wonderful and inspiring environment based on ecological principles, delicious home-cooked food, and even an afternoon guided meditation. It may sound like we were just relaxing, but the opposite is true! From morning to night, we were wracking our brains and working on how to become better and authentic leaders. We learned that there is an art to assigning a task correctly. And achieving a leadership level where we inspire, coach and delegate is even harder - but all the more satisfying.

We still have a lot of work to do with our managers and teams, but it is clear that this is the direction we want to go down. To develop independent, responsible employees and teams who share our values and are happy to contribute to our vision. And we are not going to be idle - the next generation of our young leaders is now going through the training program in Libchavy, and we have big plans for them!
